science class
"What happened good at school today?" I asked my first-grader as we drove to soccer practice.
"Nothing."
"Nothing good?"
"Somebody threw up."
"That was good?"
"I got to see how they clean it up. They poured this powder on it... and then it kind of like went into the powder... and then they just sweeped it up into the bag. Not the bag with the powder in it... another bag. Do you know how that works, Dad?"





It's so awesome that he recognized that something like that took place. Not the throw up!, but the absorption. It's so neat when little minds act upon things that we feel are above their years.
